In order to analyze the data with more efficiency and effectiveness, we scaled the point differential score down to 10% of the point differential. The blue bar identifies the turnover differential, while the red bars identify the point differential.
The New York Jets have a positive turnover differential, yet the third lowest point differential. They may actually be a worse team than their numbers suggest. On the other hand, the Buffalo Bills are a negative turnover differential and a positive point differential. The Bills defense gets a lot of love for obvious reasons, but they have not been able to get turnovers as efficiently as the offense has been throwing interceptions and fumbling the ball.
